Good to know before arriving at the park

The HopLop staff are always willing to help and serve you, but you, as an adult, are responsible for the playing and activities. Children may never be left alone at HopLop; they are the responsibility of the accompanying parent or supervisor.

HOW LONG CAN WE PLAY IN HOPLOP?

There is no time limit for playing in HopLop, but you may not leave the park and come back without buying a new ticket.

WHAT KINDS OF STORAGE SPACES ARE AVAILABLE AT HOPLOP?

Outdoor clothes are left in the coat racks and storage spaces reserved for them when arriving at the park. There is a separate pram parking spot for strollers.

WHY MUST WE WEAR SOCKS AT HOPLOP?

Socks or indoor slippers are worn for hygiene and safety reasons. You may not go barefoot or wear shoes at HopLop!

 WHY DOES EVERYONE NEED TO WASH THEIR HANDS BEFORE PLAYING?

You should wash your hands before entering the play area for hygiene reasons. It is also polite towards the others.

MAY THE PARENT LEAVE THE PARK FOR A MOMENT?

Parents are always responsible for their kids who are playing at HopLop. Kids may not be left by themselves at HopLop parks. Kids who are over 10 years old may come to HopLop to play if they have a written permission from their parent.

(The adventure permission is not used at the Rovaniemi HopLop.)

 

HOW OLD DOES A CHILD NEED TO BE TO BE LEFT ALONE AT HOPLOP?

Kids must always be accompanied by a supervisor who is at least 16 years old. All kids under the age of 16 who enter the play area must pay the admission fee. Supervisors who are over 16 may come to HopLop free of charge. Kids who are over 10 years old may come to HopLop to play if they have a written permission from their parent. MAY WE EAT OUR OWN SNACKS AT HOPLOP?

You may not eat your own snacks at HopLop, with the exception of baby food, which may be warmed up in our café and restaurant. There is a café and restaurant in every HopLop, which serves beverages, warm meals and small snacks. Browse the products of the café and restaurant here.

IS THERE A WATER SUPPLY POINT AT HOPLOP?

Most HopLops have their own separate water supply point where you can fill your own water bottles. We also sell 0.5 L bottles of spring water at the café and restaurant.

HOW IS THE SAFETY OF THE EQUIPMENT MANAGED?

The safety of the activities is supervised by staff during daily safety inspections. The ticket office also describes the play rules of HopLop when you buy a ticket, and written rules are also available upon request. In addition, the play areas of the park include safety instructions for each area in a visible spot, describing the possible special requirements of the area, such as height, weight and age limits and the maximum number of simultaneous users.

DOES HOPLOP HAVE FREE INTERNET?

Free Wi-Fi is available in all HopLops.

WHAT SHOULD I DO, IF I SEE BULLYING OR DISTURBING BEHAVIOUR?

Pushing and bullying is not part of the fun at HopLop! Please report any problems to the staff immediately so that they can help and interfere, if necessary. Please also make sure that your child plays fairly.
